Ellie’s Notes – April 9, 2025

Hope this brief note finds you well.
The April 10th SaveSCC Informational meeting has been moved to April 16th , 2025 at 5 pm at SCC Community Center at 1910 S Pebble Beach to allow for more attendees. Please be there and bring your neighbors and friends who were unable to attend the session on March 26th. Getting everyone informed, up to speed and participating is critical to our success and the future of our community. See the attached postcard.
I had an excellent speaking engagement at the Kings Point Concerns Citizen’s Group meeting Monday at the Banquet Room in the Community Hall. I gave a 30 minute talk about SaveSCC and our efforts to protect our golf courses and green spaces. Augie from the Wimauma Community Planning Advisory Council (WCPAC) also spoke about things happening in Wimauma. Click here if you are interested in viewing his slides.
Please continue to share our email and keep others informed. Spreading the work and having people sign up on our web site SaveSCC.org under the Take Action Tab to receive our communication is vital to our cause and success and just the act of passing on information or wearing a tee shirt can bring the uninformed on board.
We’ll have tee shirts in more sizes – 2xl, 3xl, and 4xl, yard signs, posters with grommets, window clings and banners depending on your preference available for a small donation before or after the meeting on the 16th.
