We hope this communique finds you well and that you are enjoying your summer, whether here in Florida or elsewhere!

Save Sun City Center (Save SCC) is thrilled to launch a new monthly community initiative: “Save SCC Second Saturdays.” This is a wonderful opportunity for residents to meet directly with Save SCC leaders, stay informed, and get actively involved in protecting our community from golf course development.

July 11 –  Event Details

• When: The Second Saturday of each month

• Time: 10:00 a.m. – 12:00 p.m. (Noon)

• What: An open-house style gathering—feel free to drop in anytime!

What to Expect (Event Features)

Our Open House is designed with several dedicated stations to help you get the most out of your visit:

• Ellie’s Corner for Q&A: Have questions about the ongoing efforts, legalities, or future plans? Pull up a chair at Ellie’s Corner for direct, personalized Q&A and conversation.

• Volunteer Coordinator Table: Want to join the team? Stop by this table to see where your unique talents can help us make the biggest impact. We have volunteer roles for everyone!

• Scanning Station: Bring your relevant community data, documents, or records! Our scanning station will be up and running to digitize and securely archive important files for our research and preservation efforts.

• Save SCC Merchandise & Price Update: Stop by to grab your official Save SCC T-shirts, yard signs, and window clings. Please note: Due to updated production costs, our merchandise pricing/suggested donation amounts for t-shirts and yard signs have changed from $ 20 to $ 25.

While our usual base is the Armstrong Room, North Campus Atrium Building (1009 N. Pebble Beach Blvd.), room assignments vary by month:

By entering the premises, you acknowledge and give your permission for your photo or video likeness to be used in any and all Save SCC publicity and promotional materials without compensation or further notification.

For everyone’s awareness, a notice will also be posted on the entry doors and easels. We truly appreciate your cooperation and understanding!
